Special White Sauce

Where to begin with this sauce! If you have been to one of those food trucks or a donair restaurant you know the special sauce I have recreated here.

About 6 or so years ago my husband and I took a trip to New York. Being he lived there a number of years ago he took me straight to the food truck he always talked about. Next to the delicious food they pumped out, along with it came this fascinating unforgettable sauce!

Ever since then I crave for that sauce. That delicious sauce!

So I did the only thing I could think of seeing as we can’t just jump in the car and go get it. I created my own!

I honestly could not believe how close this tastes to the real deal! My husbands eyes nearly popped out when he first tried it as he could not believe how similar it is!

This sauce can basically be used on anything. Chicken, beef, vegetables, salads you name it. It just adds a great flavour to anything!

It can be made ahead of time and kept in the fridge for up to 4 days. If it lasts that long!! Unlike some sauces this does not have to sit for the flavours to extract, it can be made and use right away. However, if you are anything like me – these are the things I like to have ready for supper so I will normally whip it up in the morning that day.

Give this a try and let me know how it turned out for you!!

Happy Saucing!!!
